District Office and Housing Strategy – Commonwealth Client

 
 

The team at ASPA were engaged by a public sector client to develop a District Office and Housing Strategy. The operational organisation maintained offices in remote and regional Australian as part of delivering its role, and they were experiencing difficulty in attracting and retaining staff in these locations.

Our role was to investigate the reasons for these issues and to identify possible alternative operating models to overcome these challenges. We delivered this role over five stages including discovery, consultation, existing model review, and performance review.

Key Outcomes

The result of our work was a recommendation on a new operating model for the management of the district office and residential housing portfolio. We also provided a roadmap for the implementation of the new model, identifying key activities to transition to the new operating model and to achieve the desired operational benefits.
